Generally speaking, Motion Graphics is a visual representation designed based on the flow of time.

Dynamic graphics is a kind of product between graphic design and animation. Dynamic graphics use rules based on graphic design in visual presentation and use animation production in technology.

Traditional graphic design is mainly aimed at the static visual presentation of plane media. Dynamic graphics, on the basis of graphic design, make a visual symbol based on dynamic images. Animation and dynamic graphics differ in the same way as graphic design and comic books. Even though they are presented in the same plane media, the difference is that one is the manifestation of design vision, while the other is the use of narrative images to serve content.

With the popularity of dynamic graphics art, ABC, CBS and NBC, the three major cable TV networks in the United States, first began to use dynamic graphics in their programs. However, at that time, dynamic graphics only appeared as corporate logos, rather than the expression of creativity and inspiration. In the 1980s, with the rise of color TV and cable TV technologies, more and more small TV channels began to appear. In order to distinguish the inherent images of the three cable TV networks, the later TV channels began to use dynamic graphics as a means of publicity to establish images.

In addition to the popularity of cable TV in the 1980s, the continuous development of video games, videos and various electronic media created more employment opportunities for dynamic graphic designers. Designers who could create dynamic graphics under the constraints of the technology at that time were in great demand. One of the most influential dynamic graphers after the 1990s was keeley cooper, who combined traditional design with new digital technology by applying techniques from print design to dynamic graphic design. He helped design more than 150 films and TV series. One of the most iconic titles is the one he designed for David fincher's 1995 film seven crimes.

There is no shortage of the famous spy hard drive "James Bond" in the history of film opening production. With the advancement of technology, the development of dynamic graphics changes with each passing day. In the early 1990s, most designers could only work on high-value professional sites.

With the development of computer technology and the software development of many software developers on PC system platform, in the 1990s, many CG work tasks were shifted from analog workstations to digital computers. During this period, more and more independent designers emerged, which rapidly promoted the progress of CG art. With the revolutionary development of digital imaging technology, dynamic graphics have been pushed to a new high point.

Today, dynamic graphics can be seen everywhere on any media.
